Santa Maria (/ˌsæntə məˈriːə/; Tagalog pronunciation: [ˈsɐnta mɐˈɾija]), officially known as the Municipality of Santa Maria (Tagalog: Bayan ng Santa Maria) (ISO: PH-BUL; PSGC: 031423000[4]) is a first class highly urbanized municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 256,454 people[3] representing 7.8% of the population of the province.
